Always give God Thanks

He alone is worthy! Praise is a command - it is what we the creation give to God the creator. Psalms 150:6 "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord."

God is worthy of our thanks and our praise regardless of our situations. Even in the midst of storms God is still God. We don't praise God just because of what He does but we praise Him because of who He is. He is our creator, the Alpha and Omega , beginning and the end, all that is-exists through Him and for that alone we give Him praise. Praise belongs to God. Our Lives are in his hands. We may not like the way something is going but God knows what is best for us , He created us and we should trust Him. ( Revelation 4:11)

Periodically our emotions may deceive us to think there is no reason to be grateful; that everything in our lives may be going wrong but this is simply not true. There is always a reason to give the creator of the universe thanks. The simple fact that you can have that thought means that your brain is functioning and processing, which is a reason to give God glory. Every day the sun faithfully rises and night continuously falls; simple acts we take for granted like being able to communicate, having the activity of our limbs and our senses intact are all praiseworthy! Every moment is a gift from God, I didn't have to wake up this morning but I did , and no matter how I feel that is a blessing from the LORD.

Whether circumstantial or due to instability of our feelings , occasionally we may wake up unappreciative which then can deter our our joy, shifting our entire day. Don't allow a bad thought or a negative moment to define you; instead shift that emotion by thinking on things that are lovely and true (Philippians 4:8). Choose to remind yourself that one event does not erase all the blessings in your life. Be intentional with your thoughts and determined to believe that God is still good; He is still God and in control. God created us, He knows whats best for us, His thoughts for us are good and to prosper us (Jeremiah 29:11). The greatest news of all is that we are saved!! That our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ redeemed us to the Father and defeated death so we can have everlasting life in Him (John 3:16); This is not the end- the promise is VICTORY. There will be no more death and no more sorrow bug eternal peace! (Revelation 21:4). Hold on to these truths of the word of the Lord and you will soon find yourself overflowing with gratitude. It's so great to know that God loves us and our hope is in the promises in our Lord. Material things may come and go but my faith can not be removed nor will His love for me ever perish! For this we give God Praise!
